Devastation of Philippine Poverty

These are the children you find working in subhuman conditions. They toil over countless hours for little pay, and are often abused by their employers.

Poor families often have very little and at times not enough money to get by. In most cases, they cannot even afford decent food on their plates.

Money is a very scarce commodity in a country plagued by poverty. In most cases people resort to desperate ways of earning money.  In street alleys and red light districts, young men and women peddle their bodies to interested parties.

As sources for money gets scarcer, some individuals resort to defying justice for a living , sadly children find themselves behind bars for crimes of desperation.

As money starts to dwindle in society; industry has to adjust certain measures in order to keep the business alive. They cut down on costs, which could then lead to retrenchment and mass lay-offs.
